We spent the first part of 2025 visiting colleges and universities in Metro Manila, spreading awareness on oral health and the ORAHEXtra care that comes from ORAHEX.
In January (20 and 21), we set up our interactive ORAHEX Booth at the Miriam College Higher Education Unit in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City and spent two days having games, prizes and surprises for Knollers – students and educators alike.
In February (11 and 12), ORAHEX joined in the fun and celebration of “Braving Excellence”, the 97th Anniversary Foundation week of Far Eastern University Manila. As the FEU Tamaraw population enjoyed carnival rides and booths right inside the campus, they also took time to learn about ORAHEXtra care at our ORAHEX Booth.
The interactive ORAHEX booths at Miriam College and FEU Manila were open the whole day (8am-5pm; 9am-6pm respectively). That was a total of 4 days where students and educators were shown video primers on common oral health issues addressed by ORAHEX, such as cavities, plaque and halitosis. ORAHEX representatives also talked about how to rinse with ORAHEX – including how often in a day (once in the morning and once at night), the amount to use per rinse (10ml undiluted), how long to rinse each time (30 seconds), how to expel (spit not rinse) and how long the protection from each rinse lasts in our oral surfaces (up to 12 hours). Visitors to our ORAHEX booths also learned important information about chlorhexidine gluconate, the highly-effective antimicrobial agent that is the main ingredient of ORAHEX.
Of course, all this information was reinforced in a fun and engaging manner, with pop quizzes, a plinko drop game, merchandise and sample giveaways for participants.
ORAHEX will continue to make our presence felt in more spaces in the future. With these events, ORAHEX will spread the message of how to get ORAHEXtra care that lasts against the germs and bacteria that cause plaque, cavities and halitosis.
