On the 6th of December 2024, PHARMAHEX, the manufacturer of ORAHEX, was part of the 68th PSO-HNS (Philippine Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery) Convention held at EDSA Shangri-La Manila in Mandaluyong.
PSO-HNS is one of two organizations, the other being the Philippine Society of Periodontology (PSP) whose logos appear on every bottle of ORAHEX. This shows how ORAHEX is officially recognized and held in high regard by both the medical and dental industry.
At the PSO-HNS Convention, ORAHEX also set up its interactive booth at the Bohol Room so convention attendees can learn more about how to get ORAHEXtra care for themselves and their patients.
Along with the interactive booth, the main participation of PHARMAHEX and ORAHEX was to have a segment at the Mactan Room 1 of EDSA Shangri-La hosted by sports commentator Migz Gomez.
The segment was given by Dr. Jessy Joie Domagsang, called “TMD 101: Getting to Know Temporomandibular Joint and Disorders (TMD)” which included a talk on the Orofacial Pain Program. “Doc Jessy” is a respected Dental Health Professional and a Doctor of Dental Medicine. She got her Master of Science Degree in Pain Management from the UST Center for Pain Medicine. She is also a Fellow of the Orofacial Pain Association of the Philippines, and she is a Clinical Instructor and Lecturer at the National University, with classes on TMJDs and the Orofacial Pain Program.
After Doc Jessy’s very informative Powerpoint presentation, she held a Q&A for assembled participants on issues relevant to TMDs.
A raffle draw was also held, with lucky attendees taking home prizes which included merchandise and sample bundles from ORAHEX.
The event marked a momentous occasion where ORAHEX actively engaged with medical and dental professionals in organizational gatherings to celebrate achievements within the industry, and to emphasize its greater role and importance in maintaining ORAHEXtra care when it comes to oral health.
